shiok...woke up at 12+pm 2dae...haha...good rest...then went to mit some of the young adults for lunch...then went for YAF...topic discussed was abt abortion industry...watched a video on it...seen really disturbing pics...the YAF's atmosphere was still abit tense...mayb every1 not really comfortable with each other yet...hopefully one day can be less tense...EC came 2dae...glad to see him again...but he went off early, so did not hav the chance to tok to him...

after YAF, went opp to hav prata fellowship...haha...NTL is an interesting guy to noe...haha...an individual who uses a pocket knife to eat prata...haha...wat an eye-opener...he is oso half dutch, half chinese...all of us were amazed with his family history and background...haha...

then went 2gether with CR, GR and DR to marina sq to meet dolphin for dinner...had yuki yaki buffet then went to bugis for ice-cream...coz DR wanted to see the pics he took for the shop...haha...had a good time of fellowship and of coz being with dolphin...hehe...this week met her onli like twice or so...tink when she start her course will meet her less often liao...so muz cherish the time 2gether...hee...

memories worth keeping

645am need to leave home for work...got to reach company at 730am as we'll be leaving for changi jetty to catch the 9 - 930am boat to pulau ubin...we reach at abt 845am, so had breakfast...had 2 pieces of prata and tea...my chemist paid for us all again...hehe...so generous of him...
then went to take the boat to ubin...$2 per trip...so to and fro cost $4...not as expensive as goin to pulau tekong...hehe...anywae, can claim from company...hehe...i work in this company like some tourist...haha...commended by my colleages...haha...coz go different sites will take pictures with them etc...and they admire this attitude...they sae it makes the job more interesting...some of them said they regretted not taking more pictures when they were younger...which i totally understand...i shld have taken more photos when i was a teen...hehe...lots of memories...

when we arrive at ubin, walked abt 5mins to the location where we collect the diesel fuel sample...the tank was above ground...about 3 stories high...had to climb the ladder at the side to go up...the worse thing is there is no safety harness or watsoever...haha...but it was thrilling and exciting...Thk God for the safety...it was really a good experience coolecting sample from such a height...

After collecting sample, the chemist wanted to tour pulau ubin, so he rented a van to take us for a ride...all of us went to ubin b4, so onli he is asking the driver questions...haha....went back to mainland abt 12+pm...had lunch at changi village hawker centre...i ate the popular nasi lemak and a cup of sugarcane...

as it was still early, my chemist suggested we go up his place (toh guan, near IMM) to have a drink...haha...a person who really noes how to njoy...haha...after which we head back to company...i drove them back to company...hehe...he commended tt my driving was ok...hehe...

after work, went home then went to ECP with SQ and HT for dinner...its been a long time since the 3 of us had a meal 2gether...went to the zen restaurant...one and onli outlet in singapore...quite a nice place to dine in...we tried almost all the meat they had...beef, chicken, fish, crab and prawn...haha...after that went to stroll abit then take bus 196 home...chatted quite abit on the bus too...had a good laugh, suan-ing and fellowship...hehe...life is short, learn to njoy every moment...hehe...

memories of my recruit days

went to pulau tekong this morning to collect diesel fuel sample...last time ferry to tekong was FOC coz army personnel...this time hav to pay ferry fee of $7.20 for 2 way ticket...not cheap man...so many fond memories of that place...had to walk to the tank abt 2km away from the jetty...happen to walk pass my company line...hehe...can remember the fun, crazy, tough, fearful experiences...hehe...was telling stories of my stay there to my chemist...hehe...he was very interested as it was the first time he stepped into tekong...

anywae, b4 goin to tekong to collect the sample, i predicted tt the oil sample collected will be very dirty, dark coloured with alot of sediments in it...but when i drew the sample from the tank...

waalaah.......so clean...so clear and bright in colour...its the cleanest sample i collected so far...tot this island will be more or less abandoned...haha...but im really impressed with the maintenance of the oil here...if i compare this sample picture with the previous sample picture i inserted in my earlier blog, the difference can be clearly seen man...well done to personnel maintaining the tank...

after work went for class at C.O...2dae touch on the topic 'the Lord's Supper'...this topic had less queries from the pple...haha...but still hav lah...but less compared to the earlier topic on baptism...hehe...sm of the things discussed were 'transubstantiation' (where the bread and wine changed to the literal body and blood of Christ), 'consubstantiation' (where the body and blood of Christ, and the bread and wine coexist in union with each other), 'foot-washing as a third ordinance', 'some of the objections of close communion' and many others...interesting lesson i shld sae...pastor didnt manage to complete the study, so nxt class will continue...as usual...hehe...

oven experience

went to collect diesel fuel sample for testing...the place was at Singtel Com-centre...the place of collection is at basement 3...where all the pipelines, pump and generators are found...look at the number of pipings...haha...this is juz a small portion of it...wah, really like an oven man in there...and it was so noisy tt we need to put on ear-plugs...









The contractor was trying very hard to open the cap of the tank for us to collect the sample...he perspired like someone turned on the tap...haha...literally flowing...
This is a water finding equipment...we will apply water finding paste on it...once this equipment is lowered into the base of the tank, it will be drawn up...if there is a layer of water in the tank, the paste will turn pink colour...quite interesting...hehe...

After work went to dolphin's place for dinner...wah, the bus that i took to dolphin's place was like an oven oso...really warm inside...its like the bus is giving out heat from the engine...every1 perspiring like crazy in the bus...haha...after eating wif dolphin, stayed for awhile b4 dolphin starts studying...then i went to another venue to drink soup prepared by a bro-in-Christ...hehe...super full...hehe...

remembered the first day i reported to work, the weather was the same as this morning...pouring so heavily and i walked in the rain for quite a distance b4 i reach the lab...but this time i clever liao...hehe...brought an umbrella...met my colleage at clementi bus stop...she waited from 7.35am till 8am where i arrived...haha...clementi jam due to heavy down pour...reach the lab dry...haha...

helped my chemist do up his report...correct his english and ammend some inconsistancies...coz the report is goin to be read by singtel's senior manager...so muz proof read many many times b4 submitting...hehe...

dolphin got FBI in the evening...so the cow went home and eat maggie mee...rested 2hrs, then went for a jog...hehe...feel healthy again...haha...

2ml is lantern festival...dolphin and the cow will be back at their respective house to spend time with their family...hehe...cannot neglect family time...hehe...

ok, time to bathe and sleep...hope 2ml can wake up on time...hehe...

yest didnt blog as i was tired...hehe...had a game of tennis wif sis HL and KX...since bot new tennis rackets, so want to make use of it...hehe...the racket i got was light man...haha...all my shots were so powerful...haha...nt as tired as my first game wif them...went for dinner after that at gombak coffeeshop...got a treat from sis HL again...hehe...think nxt round muz treat them liao...hehe...

went home, did abit of weight training before i went to bathe and oror...

went to church 2dae...walked in the rain...so cold...sunday school completed 1 Thes chapter 5...service talked abt, 'life of an unmixed faith.' Pastor mentioned tt if the church will stop asking why why why when problems arise, the church will be a fantastic church...mayb we shld learn to be more thankful...after church, had choir...i was the choir bell 2dae...hehe...shouted, '1.30pm lo'...hehe...so choir started on time...hehe...i guess time and again we need reminders like these...hehe...

After choir went to coffeebean to chill again...everyone mugging, except for me...haha...a total of 8 pple including me were there...i drank mocha mudslide, ate a mama's almond biscotti and surfed the net...hehe...can recall my poly days....oso mug like crazy...haha...cant study in the presence of dolphin...haha...she is a distraction to me...haha...when dolphin starts her course, its my turn to b a distraction to her...haha...still considering shld i take up degree...praying abt it...if its not God's will then i will forego the idea...anywae, studies is nt everyt in life rite...hehe...

after dinner went back to coffeebean to chill again...den more and more pple came to join us...haha...wat a gathering...haha...stayed till abt 10.15pm, den go off...sm went to WK's house to watch 22 pple chase one ball...haha...while all of us walked home...we talked abt how we used to celebrate lantern festival when we were younger...nw adult liao then nv participate in all these fun activities liao...why cant we like a child have tt simple mind of njoying simple tings like these festivals? hav we lost this kind of simple happiness? r we so busy tt we dun even hav the time to juz appreciate/njoy simple things like these? hm...i hav decided to participate in ALL festivals nxt year onwards...hehe...even if its juz to buy a lantern and light a candle...hehe...

Meeting 2dae was ok...went to singtel building at Katong for meeting wif some of the big shots from singtel to discuss on some projects...even the senior manager was there...didnt had much problem speaking to them...all made of dust anywae...haha...army days was good in the sense that what is happening in army is also happening in the real working world...some pple tok alot, no action...some pple tok little, lots of action done...some pple tok little and no action...and is always the same kind of pple having tt same kind of attitude...shan't mantion what kind of pple lah...haha...Thk God for a smooth meeting...at least for my part...

After the meeting it was already abt 11.30pm...abit hungry...so went opposite singtel to grab a bite...had roti prata...not bad man...while waiting for the prata, saw that dog walk pass me...got a shock...REALLY GOT A SHOCK...like heart attack...the size was huge (dog's height was abt my waist level...and it juz walked pass me...haha...if its juz half a meter beside u, trust me, u will be scared...haha...

My boss (bottom right person), really knows how to njoy life even at work...haha...he suggested that we go ECP to hav a time of relaxation...haha...previously he brot us to labedor park to relax...2dae ECP...i tink the nxt one will be west coast park...haha...Treated us lunch as well...hehe...nice and generous boss to work with...what a blessing...God is so good...

In the evening, had BSC at BB...had a gd time of lesson on suffering and fellowship...the food prepared by the aunties were great...my favourite dish was the crab curry...shiok man...hehe...spoke to a couple of pple abt the YF and YAF...discussing abt the low attendance etc...i guess times have change...they were saying pple nowadays hav more commitments and stuff...but i strongly believe is the issue of the heart...hehe...i was sharing with them that in my YF days, the pple attending the fellowship were present eventhough they were busy...why? i believe coz they wan to be there...there was a certain thing that kept their hearts there...be it gd or bad...there is something that made them wan to go for YF...how much can the YF/YAF leader or committee do? only tt much...the main thing is really up to individual's heart...missing those days really...

2dae suppose to go Tekong to collect sample for testing, but coz its a high security zone, so its hard to get a permit enter in...especially when my chemist is from China and my driver is from malaysia...haha...so entrance to Tekong is still pending...so 2dae stayed in the lab the whole day...ntg much for me to do 2dae...so i helped my colleages wash those apparatus tt they hav used...haha...then my chemist goin to change his desk...then ask me clean up his new desk as it was very dusty...haha...so in front of so many pple from various departments, i brot a pail and cloth...like cleaner like tt...haha...humility needed man...

ntg much 2dae...dolphin went to her korean class in the evening...juz eat one chicken for dinner...so unhealthy...irregular still ok...juz eat one chicken only...hai...anywae, so i waited for her to end then go fetch her...bot sushi from carefour...goin to close shop liao, so got offer...haha...bot 12 sushi for only $4.60...at least can feed the dolphin...haha...can see how dolphin really njoys her korean classes...after every class, so excited to tell me all abt it...hehe...

2ml another miting to attend with my chemist...praying for God's guidance and wisdom of speech...hehe..most importantly, to be able to translate quick and accurate enuf for him...haha...

A picture of my mum and me in my working attire when i go out to collect oil sample...hehe...very hot wan ah wear this suit...hehe...If i work in the lab, i will onli be wearing a lab coat...which i really prefer wearing...haha...the backgorund is my mum's working place...Singtel building at Serangoon...went there to collect oil sample for testing...so asked my mum to join us for lunch...so my chemist, the driver and me went for lunch 2gether with my mum at the canteen there...hehe...my mum kip telling her colleages im her son and wat im doing there...haha...mother's pride...haha...when will it be my turn to b proud of my kid...hehe...

after work went to KC to visit HX...as cute as usual...hehe...2dae she made us laugh so much...dolphin bot her a lantern....she was so excited, rushing to the door to receive her lantern...haha...Dolphin was fed (or rather stuffed) by HX...haha...when HX couldnt force the bread into dolphin's mouth, HX pinch the bread bit by bit and eat herself...haha...we all really had a good laugh....

Made HX learnt how to drink from a different bottle...hehe...she still cant drink from it as it wasnt usual her usual milk bottle...as she tilt the bottle, the water flows to her mouth den she will close her mouth...haha...scared the water will choke her...hehe...tink she will need lots of practice...hehe...if she master this bottle liao den we will teach her how to drink from a straw...hehe...wher she has to learn to suck from the straw...which is much more difficult...hehe...

scary yet beneficial experience

woke up slightly later 2dae...hehe...coz yest went running, so harder to get up in the morning....hehe...anywae, im still early at work...

2dae i accompany my chemist down for a important meeting...the agenda of the meeting was to clarify certain issues regarding the difference in testing results between our company and another company....the difference was quite big so the client wanted to have a meeting to discuss how come will differ so much...so i was asked by my chemist to be the 'spokesman'...yest he ran thru (IN CHINESE) every detail on how the test was done and wat results they compiled etc...so i was to answer any questions tt the client post me...the atmosphere in the meeting room was tense man...abt 15 pple present including us in the miting...some managers and some inspectors etc...during the meeting, i was tinking about wat would happen if our test results are wrong...haha...then juz nice, the client explain tt if the results of either company is wrong, the company with the wrong results will hav to compensate the loses...man, tts scary...we're toking abt millions of dollar...anything i not sure i will definitely ask the chemist before answering man...haha...

anywae, after both company explainied and clarified to the client, the client was still nt really satisfied...so they requested that they want to visit both our work place to take a look...haha...so we agreed to it...the other company hesitated and said they need time to prepare etc...so the client said wif a harsh tone, "YOU CALL THIS ISO CERTIFIED?" man, total silence in the room...haha...anywae, once they reach our company building, the chemist called a bigger shot to take over liao...so the director 'entertained' them...haha...my chemist and i left the client to the director...hehe...sounds bad, but well, the client came out of the room wif smiles and laughter, so i guess it wasnt tt bad after all...remind me of my army life...haha...where i got to attend meeting on behalf of my officer-in-charge (OC)...speaking to big shots can be really scary...haha...but well, i learnt alot thru the miting and i tink it will help me greatly in time to come...hehe...

after work went to meet dolphin...we have purpose in our hearts to have more exercises together...good oso lah, at least dolphin got opportunity to exercise...its been a long time since dolphin had exercised...hehe...we went to queensway shopping centre to get tennis rackets...each one one...hehe...spent abt $150 for both racket...we have planned to play tennis more often wif sis HL and KX...since the court is free, so might as well utilise it...hehe...lets wait and see if this will last...hehe...

its my turn again to songlead for sunday school...my pianist told me she was tired...so i kiddingly suggested that i play the piano and she lead the song...haha...well, thankful for her to play the piano when i was leading though she was tired...it encourages and edifies me in many ways...its so nice juz to see fellow bro and sis in Christ serving 2gether hand in hand...to support one another in weary times...its one of the reason why im still serving...hehe...

after church, the choir had a meeting to talk abt choir discipline...well, not all turned up...but at least majority of the people were present...the points abt choir discipline were clear and im sure everyone present now understands what they ought to do and what they ought nt to do...so 2dae's choir practice started on time...haha...hope this will carry on and on and on...hehe...there are other aspects but i guess i'll juz leave it as it is...hehe...wan to noe more, join the choir...haha....

after choir went to coffeebeans to chill out...dolphin study her korean and the rest juz chatted and 'debated' over some ridiculous issues...haha...but it was nice to noe another person well...at least we can teach our children nxt time abt such things...not goin to elaborate...haha...

previously when i wasnt working, i could slp till no matter wat time i like...haha...nw tt im working, i've got to wake up early to go to work...so 2dae, took the opportunity to rest till 11pm...haha...it was a gd rest...7 days a week, onli sat can wake up late...so muz make full use of sat to wake up late...hehe...

met dolphin, sister HL and KX for steamboat at city area...we brot them to try the Yet Con steamboat...the first impression the restaurant gave sister HL was bad...haha...she experienced ratetouille in the back kitchen when she visited the toilet...haha...but well, we continued to eat there...they really like the food...especially the chicken rice and chicken...it reminded KX of her grandma...her grandma used to cook hainan chicken rice for her when she was abt 3yrs old...wat a nice picture...hehe...all in all, it cost $36.70...sister HL wan test the cashier if they anyhow charge...haha...so nxt time we visit the restaurant, we will order the same thing and see if the praice is the same...haha...

me and dolphin skipped YAF/YF gathering, coz we had to attend some dialogue session...in my opinion, i tink the gathering will be a wiser and more fruitful choice...hehe...after the session, we proceeded to JP to gai gai...hehe...it has been a long time since we gaigai like this in JP...can remember when dolphin was staying at Kang Ching, we go there almost everyday to gaigai...juz to spend time 2gether...haha...had dinner at the bento place...nv tried b4, so went ther to try...the food was not bad...gd enuf for a first time visit...hehe...

since dolphin learnt korean, she was asked to practice sm korean thingy...she is hardworking man...kip practicing to me on the bus on our way home...haha...wat a korean dolphin she is...

the silence

collected oil samples for testing from 2 places...took us the whole day...haha...coz collect halfway rain...guess where were we then, BUKIT TIMAH HILL ah...stuck up there for abt 1hr...when the rain stopped, we went down the hill...THEN IT RAINED AGAIN WHEN WE WERE AT THE MID OF THE HILL....haha...so we all ran down...got soaked...when we got into the car...my colleage went to blast the aircon...crazy guy...haha...we all shivering vlike mad...haha...Thk God nv fall sick...since we worked so hard to collect one sample, my boss treated us lunch...hehe...generous boss...order 'zhi cha'...XO fish head soup, sambal veg, fried chicken and claypot tau hu...hehe...eat till full full...no eat, no work...HAHA...proceeded to our 2nd location at Seletar reservoir there...i requested the Selater manager for the schematic diagram of the place, so that we can noe the entire design and position of the tanks...he praised me...haha...coz all along company go there oso nv ask for it...im the first to ask him...haha...he said this is professionalism...hehe...my boss petted me on my back...hehe...How i wish God will do that petting on my back when i meet Him in Heaven...hehe...its really a great great great sense of joy...

called HSA a number of times...no one picked up...oh man, can it be HSA close down??? haha...so silent...tried calling the whole day but no one answered...the agency called me when i was working...so had a missed call...tot they had news for me regarding HSA...when i called back, the agent said nv call me...hai...wan to noe if i got chance to get into HSA, but i guess God wans me to wait patiently...trying again on monday...no matter wat the result, im goin to thk the Lord...

not as straight as it seems...

after 3 daes of working at the company, learnt lots of skills...the pple ther are willing and patient to teach...hehe...i taught the attachment student tt if one is willing to learn, pple will b glad to teach...sounds naive, but well, i can at least see that in the company...hehe...the pple there are fun to work with too...hehe...funny pple...even the uncles there can joke man...haha...real jokers...

2nite had bible study class at C.O...suppose to complete 2 ordinances 2dae...but as usual, there are so many questions to ask that we onli did half of one ordinance...haha...really nt as simple as most would have tot...haha...pastor planned to complete the entire BS in 4 months...i tink tts nt quite posible, looking at the rate it is goin...haha...but really learnt alot fr the class...the different arguments about certain doctrines...how pple might see it from a different angle etc...2dae learnt smtg impt...that is always go back to the regular pattern of the Bible when in doubt...and nt to take certain exceptions in the bible and form a different doctrine...looking forward to the next lesson...wan to learn and hear more questions post...hehe...pastor once warned us tt we might get so deep into the Word that we may find it difficult to get out of it...haha...i find it quite true after juz 2 lessons of study...haha...more to come man...

fatty dae...

wasted money...coz nv go work for 2hrs, due to an iterview i had to attend at kallang...after the interview, i felt tt i made a wasted trip...coz after wat the interviewer shared with me the jobscope, i immediately told them im nt really interested...nt my cup of tea at all...wat a wasted trip...so reported to work at 10.30am instead of 8.30am...wasted 2hrs of pay...hehe...



2dae didnt go out of the lab other than lunch time...so learnt alot of lab skills from my colleages...like titration, some sample calculations, preparation of reagents etc...really a good recap for me...since ORD really lost touch with all these procedures...hehe...at least 2dae got to experience all these procedures again...quite glad...looking forward to learning more things before i leave the company...hehe...



had an advance bdae celebration for dolphin's aunty...went to jack's place to eat...wah, had a really sumptous meal...oysters, beef, seafood salad and of coz cake...hehe...spent quite abit too...hehe...but i guess its worth it lah...hehe...hanxi learnt to use fork and spoon lo...hehe...kip feeding herself with potatos...haha...she juz gladly eat and eat and eat...haha...den noe how to clean armpit, clean table...haha...so funny...

the real work begins...

experience the real work 2dae...hehe...went out to various places to collect oil samples from underground oil storage tanks...went to 4 different places to collect from underground tanks as huge as 13000L in capacity...the method to collect was interesting...hehe...after the day's work had a sense of satisfaction...haha...especially getting the vast amount of knowledge from the hands-on i did 2dae...tink may b learning how to test the quality of the oil and check for the kind of impurities in the oil sample...hehe...interesting...As usual, my superior treated us drinks here and there...generous guy...

2ml goin for another interview at Kallang Way...read the company website...think they dealing with cleanroom stuff...like certifying and testing of cleanroom...nt really sure...2ml then find out more...Praying that God will lead and guide me in my discision...

had dinner with dolphin at my place 2dae...thk God still able to spend time with her though both of us started working...hehe...~happy cow~

got a temp job with a company. 2dae first day of work. Got into their Biological & Chemical Technology Division. Working with the chemical department...This company basically does testing of almost everything...haha...from soil, to building material, to paint, to food, to oil, to environment etc etc etc...haha...so many man...test whether it is of good quality and not corrupted by other chemicals or substances. as a temp staff, im atteched to an engineer to assist him in his sample collection and testings...but 2dae is my first day, so its more of an orientation day...haha...onli work i did 2dae was to help him scan and photocopy some of his reports...also help some of the staff in the department do some grinding work for testing purposes...and also helped an attached student wash his apparatus...hehe...Got to noe the entire department in one day...who does wat testing etc...haha

2dae suppose to go jurong island to collect some samples for testing, but guess ther was a miscommunication on their issueing of security pass to enter the island. so the the whole crew that went ther made a wasted trip...cant enter coz not cleared to do so...haha...so my engineer brought us to have drinks at lakeside...haha...nice boss...Thk God for it...hehe...he very funny, i like his translator like tt...haha...coz his english really hard to understand...haha...i trying nt to laugh whenever he try toking english...haha...really funny...whenever someone he toking to doesnt understand wat he is toking, he will look at me, then i translate...haha...the onli problem is to translate some terminology...hehe

received a call from another company asking me to go for interview...haha...first day of work apply off liao...haha...anywae, i tink this company is nt bad...in terms of working environment and colleages...juz tt mayb the starting pay abit low for perm staffs...hehe...hope HSA will call me soon...if nt really duno wat i wan liao...hehe...

i met a guy during the mass tracting 2 saturdays back, he was a Fhilipino guy with an interesting name...hehe...he said he was interested to find a baptist church to go to, coz he attended a baptist church back in the philipines. so hoping to find one in Singapore...So i gave him my hp no. and he gave me his...

So i msged him to ask him if he would like to join us last week for church, but he didnt reply. finally he msged me this week and said he would like to visit our church. i was so happy that i offered to go fetch him from dover mrt...hehe...but i tink he wanted to find the way himself coz he ask me so many questions on the directions and wat bus to take from dover mrt etc...So i went to church 2dae hoping to see him in church, but he didnt show up...sad sad...well, mayb smtg cropped up for him...i guessed i have to hope that he will turn up nxt week...

2dae's choir was interesting...the conductor wanted to try out smtg different...he made all the different parts stand at various position in the room...so its like 'rojak'...no 2 parts will be standing side by side...hehe...he said this is to allow him to know if the pple knew their individual parts...i guess it did helped him in this area...but there was an area that some of the choir members had problems with...especially those that are newer...they had no anchors to guide them...so they are literally learning on their own and had to blend with the rest of the pple....quite tough i shld sae, but i guess its another way of real learning...hehe...it forces them to learn to read notes and taking away the habit of waiting for others to sing then i'll sing...the conductor has really changed lots from the very first day he lead us till this day...

after choir, went to town with dolphin to get smtg fr suntec/marina square. sm product to let my dolphin have a prettier appearance...haha...toking abt appearance, i can compare dolphin's last time appearance and now...haha...whenever i tink abt dolphin in the past, it always makes me laugh...haha...now she has changed so much...polished dolphin i shld say...hehe...blessed to hav her in my life...

dinner met up with some of the YAF pple at JE. since they went to the library ther to mug for their studies, so had dinner smwher ther too. it was always great to hang out with the pple...have a time of fellowship, food, drinks and laughter...haha...~cherish the moments~

A day with Dolphin's cousin

goin out with Dolphin's cousin and fren was fun and healthy...haha...the whole day basically juz eat and workout...hehe...

by rite supposed to play tennis at 9am with them, but it was pouring so heavily tt we had to change the booking of the court to evening time...thk God oso lah, coz i felt like slping more oso...haha...so slept till 11+pm b4 goin out...the plan was to go to ECP to blade and cycle first, then go back to the condo to play tennis in the evening...hehe...sounds ambitious ah...well, we did it...hehe...im really surprise that dolphin can take it...hehe...so met up at bukit batok to hitch a ride to ECP...b4 goin ECP, dolphin's cousin brought us to Bedok to try the famous 'yong tau hu'. it was cheap and gd...8 items for onli $2...didnt order drinks bcoz they suggested that we go to Eunos to have 'teh tarek'...haha...they really noe all the local delights in east...haha...while having teh tarek, they oso got something like 'kueh tutu', but malay style...hehe...very nice...after eating we finally made our way to ECP for a time of blading and cycling...stayed ther for abt 2hrs+...it was a fun and interesting outing at ECP...dolphin as usual, safe driver...haha...safe till finger blister, coz grab the handle too tight...haha...

it was abt 5+pm, the tennis court was booked fr 7 - 8pm. so we had to get back to the condo...guess wat, b4 goin back, dolphin's cousin and fren suggested they go to tiong bahru market to get the famous fishballs and char siew pau to munch...haha...wat a blessing to go out with them...hehe...get to eat so many good food...hehe...so we headed back to the condo for a time of tennis...we played passed the time of booking...haha...played for abt 3hrs in total when we onli book for 1 hr...haha...shiok man...good exercise for dolphin, since she seldom exercise...hehe...now all of us aching all over...haha...wah, dolphin's tennis skills improved from the very first time she played tennis...her strokes nw pro man...hehe...

after tennis, dolphin's cousin treat me to a belated bdae dinner...hehe...went to have western food at bukit gombak...eat till super full...had fish n chips, rojak, giant fishballs and curry puff....haha...thk God we've exercised, if nt it will be so fattening...hehe...

2nite will surely hav a good sleep...hehe...zzZZZ

no car lo...

man, it really feels gd to have a car to travel to places yeah...so convenient...hehe...2dae back to travelling on public transport...haha...well, at least tasted driving liaoz...hehe...i guess driving less will make the taste even sweeter...an occasion worth remembering...

dolphin's doctor went overseas, so not much work to do for her...had lunch 2gether at wisma atria food republic....this time tried different stuff...had one of the set-meal...includes a plate of steamed egg, water-cress soup, herbal chicken, mushroom in duno wat sauce and 2 bowls of rice. spent abt $15 on it...felt that it wasnt worth the price...(quality and quantity wise) well, i guess that will be our first and last time to makan that lo...hehe...

back to clinic for dolphin and to the coffeebeans for cow...hehe...tried the new drink, 'mocha mudslide'...since got discount for using the membercard, so juz use...hehe...nice drk for chilling out...though the name of the drk sounds abit disgusting...hehe...brought my lappy ther to surf and apply somemore jobs...hehe...2dae apply, 2dae they call up liaoz...hehe...wat efficiency they've got...haha...praying for doors to be open and wisdom to make the right decisions in my career path...

went out really early 2dae...hehe...wan to make full use of the car rental...hehe...sent a fren to work, then went tiong bahru market for breakfast wif dolphin....its really nice to have breakfast with dolphin...can imagine after marriage life...haha...go breakfast then go marketing 2gether...haha...

after bf, drove to kang ching to visit hanxi....allow her to celebrate my bdae for me...hehe....we sang the bdae song, she clapped to the rythm...haha...so cute...as musically inclined as her mother...haha...then hx requested to watch sm children VCD. when the song old mcdonald was sung, she knew how to sing yiya yiya oh....haha....

then went home to fetch my mum and go to harbourfront to mit up with her colleage for lunch....her colleage wanted to gif me a bdae treat...so we ate at 'dragon gate restaurant'....had dim sum buffet for lunch....yum yum...eat till cant walk properly....haha...super full....then sent my mum to bukit merah for sm seminar....

dolphin and i didnt had specific place to go, so called a fren to join us for desserts...hehe...so we headed to chinatown to have dessert...wah, lose our wae in town...went in and out of ERP at orchard area......haha...really a time of familiarising the roads in town man..haha...anywae, we manage to find our wae ther..haha...that fren of ours really hav problem with directions and regconizing places...haha...can gif the driver heart attack oso...haha...well, its all these happenings tt made the journey fun...hehe...really njoyed the drive thru town...challenging and chaotic...haha...

its abt 7pm, counting down to the time for returning the vehicle....goin to miss driving for a period of time....hehe....

after returning the car, had steamboat dinner with my family, dolphin and another 2 frens at golden mile...dinner was yummy....they also got me an ice-cream cake with M&Ms...haha...cool innovasion...hehe....

the cow had a really nice and blessed bdae....thx to all who had contributed....God is so good...

interview with a company this afternoon. the HR tok so much....mostly irrelevant stuff for me...haha...so i juz listen and agreed...haha...well, my heart still yearns to go to HSA....hope they call me...hehe..

aching body

first time driving on the expressway. wah, speed went up to 90km/h...power man...learnt how to do parking in the normal carpark...no more poles to rely on. nt very difficult lah, but juz need to pratice. went to multi-storey carpark oso to try goin up and down the spiral way. such a newbie...hehe...

had basketball game in the afternoon. wah, good work out. had fun playing with older boys. hehe. very long nv play till so vigorous liao...haha...~muscleache~

2dae dolphin got FBI, so cant join me fr dinner...had dinner at home instead...received a call asking me to go for another interview. another opportunity...hehe...hm, really pray tt God will show me His Will. m i ready to accept God's Will? ~pondering~

Surprise mookie

as usual, rehersal at 9am, but started at 915am. haha. Morning voice really cannot make it. very raw and coarse. one of the singer's voice actually 'cracked'. haha. well, at least we prayed for God to bless our practice. im sure the 4 of us enjoyed serving the Lord 2gether. it has been awhile seen we presented like this. memories...hehe.

after church suppose to have a suprise advance bdae celebration for me. but one of my friend SMS me saying that he could not make it for the celebration as he was down with fever. haha. oops, i tink he juz had a slipped of the tongue. haha. so it was during service that he SMS me. so i smelt smtg fishy already. haha. after service so many actors and actresses. haha. but cow very clever oso. haha. juz played along and see wat else they have for me. muahahaha...

anywae, had a great time during lunch. went to 'The Manhattan Fish Market'. me and dolphin shared a seafood platter for 2 and a garlic butter mussels. the food is nt really great, but bcoz of the pple there that makes the food nice...hehe...wah, total bill abt $300. but ok lah, average 1 person abt $20. hehe. after the main courses, the waiters cleared the dishes and brought a bdae cake. nice chocolate cheese cake from secret recipe. the workers from the restaurant all came over the table to sing me a bdae song. it was super loud. haha. the pple walking outside the restaurant oso looked in. haha. so malu, and yet happy. haha. at the end of the singing, i stood up with hands held high and thk every1 around. haha.

it was present opening time. hehe. though nt alot, but it was the heart and presence of the pple tt counts...hehe...got a belt from dolphin...tts smtg tt i need, as mine spoilt some time ago....got a pouch from the rest of the pple...tts oso smtg tt i need, coz my pouch oso degrading liao...haha...oso got a christian book from a fren. onli men can read this book..haha...

dolphin pleases cow

didnt noe my mum got so many contacts until tis morning. wah, call up to check sm stuff for dolphin. call so many pple to check different things to find out if the comapany is regonised ant. haha. suddenly my mum like some inspector, investigating on sm case. haha. even my dad was shocked tt she spent so long on the phone and computer. haha.

Dolphin is goin to take a degree (HONS) in nursing. yeah, one step nearer to house husband life. haha. glad she took it up, though its nt her interest to study. but at least i noe she has the future family interest at heart. very pleasing to noe. hehe. should i b contented wif a diploma? should i or will i do the same like dolphin? hehe. onli God noes. hehe. lets wait and c...

2nd visit to JANZEN hair salon. went wif dolphin. first time having a haircut wif dolphin. haha. still satisfied with the hairstylist. haven dissappoint me yet. haha. i guess i will be going there more often in future. hehe. handsome cow...~blush blush~
