sports day

Health Science Authority (HSA) gave me an interview 2dae. first time 3 interviewer seat in front of me to interview me. haha. quite scary. but after sometime toking and knowing them, i find them nice. hehe. so i could juz relax and share wat i hav. overall i tink the interview was smooth. however the rest i juz got to leave to God to show me le. hehe.

after interview, went for a swim. 2dae onli swam 20 laps. coz need to save energy to go for basketball game with some church friends. hehe. some younger kids came to join us. haha. they remind me of my early days. where i go watch some big gor gor play, then they ask me join them. haha. now im the big gor gor to them. haha. had fun during the game. guess i'll be aching by 2ml. haha. wat a sports day.

dolphin came to my place for dinner with my family. we had so much to eat. bought fried chicken and pan-fried salmon plus some home cooked dishes. the fried chicken can cause high blood man. super salty. my mum nv warn me b4 i got them. the shop uncle actually uses a syringe to inject salt into the chicken. wah, the first bite i afraid kena high blood liao. so i onli took 2 small piece. haha. the salmon was nice. hehe. yum yum. thk God i exercised in the day. hehe.

its a happy day, and i thank God for the weather

DRIVING TEST at 11am. warm up started at 10am. nervous boy was I, but well, prayed and left the results to the Lord. hehe. when i reach BBDC, the weather was really gloomy. even had slight drops of rain. man, i c liao oso sianz. hehe. so warm up i requested the instructor to teach me how to on wiper and head lights. in case i 4get. hehe. anywae, went to the room to draw lots for tester and test routes. i got test name 'ah meng'. haha. i tot which monkey goin to test me. haha. but those re-taking the test were speaking among themselves and i overhead them saying one of the good testers is tt 'ah meng'. haha. wat a relieve.

test time, it was SUNNY again. Praise the Lord. on the road, ah meng was really nice. he wans u to turn right or left, he will kip saying until u turn. haha. so u will nv miss or hear his instructions wrongly. haha. the onli ting i 'bu shuang' is he anyhow give points. in the car he nv tick my scoring sheet. when go back to the room for evaluation, he look at my face and put a few ticks. like so nt professional. hehe. then some points i tink he anyhow giv lor. haha. anywae, still PASS. haha. so thk God for it. well, it was really an experience i shld sae. hehe. cow and dolphin have license but no car. so sad. :(

in the evening, the quartet came 2gether to practice the presentation for this sunday service. i personally tink tt it was good. hehe. ~self-praise~ now we onli lack coordination wif the pianist. its quite rush actually, but i guess it will turn out fine on that day.

2ml got interview at 1045am. got to run...late late...

any opinion abt having a job in Golden Village? is it ok for christians to work there? juz wondering as i brought a friend of mine to see see look look. he planning to work there. was asking myself if its ok to work in that environment. hehe. for me i tink its ok so long the working hours dun take away sunday service time. however some others might have a different view or opinion.

my last day of practice b4 the final driving practical test. 2dae my instructor praise me. He said, 'yi ni de ji shu, pass ying gai mei you wen ti.' haha. monday's practice was like so bad. got scolded and 2dae a total change in comments. haha. anywae, another 12hrs to my test. a bit nervous. hehe. hope the warm up 2ml morning will help to boost my confidence. haha.

had dinner at dolphin's place. ate salmon. haha. nice nice...2dae spend within the limits. hehe. tink in total spend onli $8+. yeah...

HSA interview postponed to fri 4pm instead of wed 10am. dolphin ask me is it gd or bad? well, i choose to see it on the gd side. hehe. 2 more days to prepare for the interview, though ntg much to prepare. haha.

rained 7hrs 2dae. power man. day time like night time, so dark and gloomy. so wet till dun wan to go out. stayed home to play some puzzle games. haha. at least save $$, nv spend a single cent. hehe. lunch oso cook at home to eat. hehe.

however, evening time spent quite alot. i tink total dolphin and i spent abt $40. hehe. suppose to start our thrifty 'program'. haha. but like wat dolphin sae, once in a while its ok. if nt life very miserable. haha. i tink i will support that. hehe.

time to rest, got driving practice 2ml. ITS MY LAST PRACTICE....hope by slping early will drive better. if nt wait get scolded again....

having a meal wif dolphin is nice. cooking for dolphin and cow is even nicer. hehe. made macaroni soup tis afternoon for lunch. dolphin came over to hav lunch wif me as she had half day off. the macaroni was gd man. ~blush~

after lunch sent dolphin to work. b4 work, had hagendaz strawberry icecream. smooth texture i should sae. the onli prob is very expensive. but i guess once in a while is ok.

had driving practical @ BBDC @ 345pm. this is wher the scolding begins. the instructor brought me to practice test route 6, at teck whye ther. certain tings i suppose to do, but i didnt. like automatic change to the center lane. i tot the instructor will tell me to turn, but he sae muz change on my own. blah blah blah.....man, from tt point onwards really no mood to drive. the worse things is it was just the first few minutes of the practice. really xian man....thursday test liao. wed will be my last practice. wonder y the rear of the car got printed, 'i will teach wif patience'. hai....anywae, juz hope for the best. haha.

so since feeling abit xian, came home, immediately change into running attire and go jogging. hehe. jogged to beauty world and back. hehe. really good training for my marathon coming up in December. so long nv run such distance liao, got to pick up slowly lo....3 months more to train....

wat title to give?

songleader for sunday school 2dae. guess wat, the songs i practiced to lead the congregation was nt found in the laptop. in the end led the pple using the service songs. thk God both songs im familiar with. however, ther was typo error in the slides. haha. so didnt manage to sing smoothly during one of the song. so they used this opportunity to edit the error b4 the service. hehe.

during service, pastor John Tan preached 2dae. his style of preaching really can make the congregation laugh. the lady seating in front of me laugh so hard that her neighbour's stuff was accidentally knocked to the ground. she couldnt stop laugh until sometime later. the grp of guys behind too were laughing their heads off. haha.

2 wks left b4 the quartet present 'Nearer my God to Thee'. this afternoon practice a few times. actual pianist not around, quite difficult to practice properly. however, 2dae every1 was like so rush, hungry and busy. hard to focus. hai...hopefully next week will be sufficient for all to be confident with their parts.

choir was quite poor in attendence. is it a positive/negative thing? actually quite discouraging lah. like choir discipline really goin down. mayb partly the main bulk of the members are youth and yaf so got studies and other commitment, but is it really rite? i really duno. hehe. well, lets juz pray for better discipline in time to come.

the cafe galillee in JE library was a bad experience. wah, the brownie was hard and yucky and the drink named 'mango madness' was even yuckier. really cannot make it. nv will i drink or eat the same thing from there again.

oh man, showed a friend a photo, now bugging me to gif it to him. told him i will gif it to him when his bdae comes. he really haunted me till i sae i will gif him on my bdae. haha. man, he really bargains like an auntie. haha. i feel sory for his parents. haha.

"Gua Sa"

man, tis is my first time doin facial. haha. a facial specialist came to our place to do facial for my mum. since she is here, i wanted to try oso. haha. FOC anywae. haha. So she applied lots of stuff and explained to me what effect it will give to my face. but i could care less. haha. juz get it done with. So the whole process she did was called "Gua Sa". using a fish like shaped equipment, she started to "Gua". in other words means 'scrape' my face. alot of techniques used juz to scape/massage the face. haha. but the after effect really showed. she did half the face and ask me to compare with the other half. really can c the difference. after "gua sa', the face was like lifted. haha. cool experience.

in the afternoon, went to catch a movie with dolphin, license to wed. after watching, we asked ourselves if we were ready for marriage. hehe. i guess this question will stay in our minds for sometime. the question is, how does one say he is ready? hehe. judging his maturity? financial stability? parent's opinion? I guess most imptly is being in the Will of God. Model answer. hehe. well, more issues like these will be discussed btw the cow and dolphin.

tracting was fun doin with mertaeyas. i tink the spelling wrong. haha. Christy & Raymond's kid. he was so enthu and innocent in giving out the tracts. he would like ask the pple, "do u want one?". haha. its like so cute. haha. He even went to trade with the other pple giving out other brochures. haha. saying, "i give u mine, u give me urs." haha. so funny.

anywae, during the tracting got a phillipino guy approach me and asked me if im a baptist. and asked if there is any baptist church in the west. he is finding a baptist church to settle down. so we exchanged hp no.s to kip in touch. invited him to our church 2ml. but he didnt reply. well, MAYB he will contact me in future. hehe.

2dae i oso learnt how to write my name in tamil. haha. my name in tamil is like so long. haha. dolphin learnt to write hers 2. haha. cool to learnt a differnt way to write our name.

going to recharge my bio battery. ciaoz...

patience training

auto alarm in the morning, woke up automatically at around 930am.

made an appointment with dolphin for lunch. went to smwher we didnt tried b4, the 'Food Republic' at Wisma Atria. Thought of what to eat, then saw the long queue at the fried prawn noodle stall. so dcided to order from there. ordered a plate of fried prawn noodle and a plate of oyster in omellette. also had mango wif pumalo for desert. spent abt $15 in total. not cheap man...pay for quality. haha.

after lunch sent dolphin back to work. from 2pm, patience training till 6+pm. thats how i get the virtue, patience. hehe. will this virtue vanish after marriage? haha. until then....muahahaha.

in the evening went to bro rick and bro hock seng's grandmother's funeral. main purpose is to play the guitar. coz dun really noe the grandma. Ban heng perm song leader. the food they served after svc was ok. mushroom wif veg, fried fish, bee hoon and herbal soup.

eyes felt like closing. tiring day.

went swimming in the afternoon, first time use suntan lotion. haha. so sticky and yucky. like buttering the bread to be toasted. haha. but i actually swam faster than without the lotion on my body. haha. mayb there is less friction so water can pass the body more smoothly. haha.

after the swim really tired though onli swam 20 laps. got abit darker. haha. tink i already won dolphin's natural tanned skin. haha.

in the evening, had the leadership class by Pastor Wee. had a fruitful discussion during the lesson. 2dae learnt about why we do not support universal visible/invisible church. some of the pointers:

THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH IS UNFUNCTIONAL - no proper commission, no church discipline, no church officers, no program, no mission. It is just a figment of the imagination.

THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH ADMITS ALL BELIEVERS - you cannot reject any believers wanting to join membership nor discipline any believers. Where do we vote them out? They always and will be in the Universal Church or Body of Christ.

THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH ADMITS ALL ERRORS - It promotes ecumenicism.

THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH IS ILLOGICAL - One does not even need baptism to be in the 'Universal Church' or join the Local Church; he is already in by virtue of being born again.

Next lesson i tink will be talking about the 2 ordinances, namely 'baptism' and 'the Lord supper'. the class really ask questions man. haha. ended about 1030pm. thats really long, but i actually enjoy listening to the different view points and discussions shared. looking forward to the next session.

wat an experience

what a pack day of activities. driving from 12.05 - 1.45pm. rush back to change to formal wear and do some read up to prepare for the interview @ 4.30pm. from ORD till nw, attended 3 interviews.

first, MP Biomedical. this line majors in biotech. so chances of getting in quite low. bio students will get the priority. so dun really have much hope on it. overall the interview was an eye opener. coz they told me abt how they test for HIV. asking me if i enter the company will i have the phobia. haha. i answered them, 'cant really say now coz still have experience anyting yet'. but in my heart i was like oh man, scary working environment. haha.

second was the Recruit Express Pte Lte. i sent my resume to one of the agent that coincidentally promoted to a manager. haha. So after she saw my resume, she notice tt im a very active person and she is 'shuang' with my CCA records and dcided to let me do a personality test to c if i suit the job as a recruitment consultant. Did the test 2 days ago. so now juz wait for their reply.

thirdly will be 2dae's interview with Mitsuboshi Overseas headquarters Pte Lte. they are handling some automotive belts. i.e coveyer belt systems, power transmission belts, and many other kinds of belting systems used in the industries. I was applying for the position as a 'Quality Assurance Engineer'. don't really know wats the exact job scope. but thru some read up i tink is to do QC and ensure the company is following the ISO 9001:2000 and TS 16949. these are stringent rules governing the quality of the production of the company. this interview was one of the toughest of all 3 as i had to do a series of test questions to test my analytical skills. haha. anywae, did my best, so im leaving the rest to the Lord. Overall the interview was gd. pple are friendly and nice.

after the interview, went to KC to spent some time wif dolphin and hanxi. haha. it was nice to have hanxi around. very cute. brot her to the coffee shop to buy dinner. so i carried the kid and dolphin ordered the food. the shop pple said hanxi very cute. haha. like she was our kid. so funny. kind of wierd though. haha. but it was a nice thought of having a family of my own. hanxi really changed. becoming cuter and cuter. haha. but bad habits all starting to pick up already. whenever cant get smtg, she will shout wif a loud ARGH. with gasto. haha. still cant get, shout again. and again and agian. haha. she picks up actions very fast. the way we walk, laugh, dig nose and even burp. haha. she tried to burp till cough. haha. anywae, it was nice to spend time with love ones.

hmm, hopefully my career will nt be a hinderance to family time in future.

dcided to start a blog. dun really noe why. so we'll c how it goes.

im happy i had some interviews and job opportunities this week. had 2 agents from Recruit Express Pte Lte calling me for job vacancy and interview. both agents are called valerie. haha. wat a coincidence. So hard to differentiate who is who till i ask them which branch they're from. haha. decided to drop the job offer and go with the other interview. wanted to kip my options open. hehe. Praying hard tt God will show me His Will clearer.

in the afternoon went out wif a friend to queensway shopping centre. though didnt buy anything, im glad he asked me to accompany him. at least i can c how queensway shopping centre has changed. spotted a few clothes i wan to get. hehe. but well, dun nid them nw. so mayb nxt time.

in the evening, quite upset. but well, i guess all things work 2gether for good. im an optimistic person yeah.....
